History
In my family there has been dogs and other animals for all my life. When I was little, we had and an Italian Greyhound "Jesse" and a Chow Chow (Ahkion Jen-Sin) from a famous finnish pioneer of Chow Chow -breeding, Mr. Veikko Löfman. Later I have owned a Portuquese Water Dog (Fin & N Ch April Fool´s Jippi Ai Jee), a Löwchen (Fin & S Ch Headline Robber´s Flirt), a Chinese Crested (Int & Fin & Est & Lv Ch, LvW-07 Zhannel´s Hot N´Sexy) and also a lovely Bichon Frisé Leeward´s Jazzabelle, who was not at her best in show rings, but was nr. 1 -companion and also showed her value as one of my foundation bitches. My mother had a beautiful Bichon, Aallonharjan Oona, who is the grandmother of fabulous Int & Fin & S & Est & Ltu & Lv Ch, LvW-07 Fine Design Sudden Kiss, "Emmi". Nowadays mom takes care of my oldies. (Thank you, mom!)

"Rocky", "Nadja", "Oona" and Portuquese Water Dog "Olga"
I got my first Bichon Frisé in 1996, Int & Fin & S & Est Ch Aallonharjan Fido, "Rocky", as a high school gratuation present. With him I learned a lot about this wonderful breed. "Rocky" had a very typical bichon frisé -character in good and bad. He was so cute but also sooo stubborn when it suited him.
With this unique dog I started to go to dogshows and I instantly got hooked. Along with show years grew my interest towards the breed and breeding (and my amount of dogs:). At this point I want to thank all those longstanding bichon frisé -breeders who gave me their expertise to help whenever needed. Thousand thanks! That was essential for a beginning breeder and helped to avoid many mistakes that probably would have occured without your precious advice. "Rocky", as well as my foundation bitches descent straightly from high quality Leeward´s Bichons. I was lucky to notice and be able to count on I had good dogs with very proper pedigrees generation after generation first to show successfully and later to start my breeding with.
So, here we are. Couple of years has gone since my first litter in 1999 and still I feel great enthusiasm to this interesting hobby. In 2007 I was able to beseech the Lauri Vuolasvirta -prize, the highest reward for quality dog breeding granted by the Finnish Kennel Club (Suomen Kennelliitto), which they awarded me a year later.

As in life in general, also in this field there are always things to improve, and only keeping the level you once have achieved is already demanding itself. Every Fine Design -litter is carefully planned and made of combinations assumed to advance Fine Design -future generation. I´ll do my best to give every one of my puppies the best possible start from where to continue with their new families. I´m happy to help and support with their show career.
My main goal - and my motivation - is to produce high quality show dogs to give us all happy moments of pride and joy both in rings and at home. Fine Design -litters are born rather seldom - usually when I need new dogs to show, so we have only one or two litters a year. Puppies grow as family members and are sold preferably to serious show homes, who are interested to take top level care of the dog and its coat.
