Young gentleman "Joona", Fine Design Grand Slam, spent a week with me here in Espoo and we took part to this autumn´s last outside show in Helsinki. "Joona" went third best male with the res-CC.
We also showed tiny "Tirri", FD Candy Cane, who amused the judge as well as the audience with the show of her very own and was EXC3:)

21.-22.8.2010 Tallinn Int
We travelled to this two day show in Tallinn with "Faust", FIN & SE CH, NORDW-09 Charmandelan Faust for Fun and "Manna", Fine Design G-Spot. First day "Faust" was BM-2 with the CC and the CACIB becoming EE CH and finished his C.I.B-title! "Manna" was BB-3. Second day "Faust" took the breed with the CACIB and "Manna" was BB-4. Congratulations Pia for your new C.I.B and thanks for the company! We had such a fun trip!:)

We decided to take part into this show only with the tiny "Tirri", Fine Design Candy Cane. She did so fine by winning her class of seven juniors and being 4th best bitch.

"Aino", INT* & FIN & EE CH, KBHV-09, W-09 Fine Design I Am, travelled to Estonia with her owner and they came back with lovely results: CC, BOB and BIG-3!

Although the boat trip was horrendous because of the storm, we had a lovely travel to Estonia with Eve & Kari and "Jesper", C.I.B*, Fin & EE Ch, W-08-09, EEW-10 Fine Design Talk Is Cheap. "Jesper" finished his International Championship -title by being BOB. He was selected to final eight.
Also "Jesper"´s sister "Viivi" was supposed to enter, but the owners decided to quit her show career just before her last CACIB. So sad!
Super congrats to "Jesper"´s owners and thank you for keeping the coat in excellent shape!

Dear darling "Manna The Everhappy", Fine Design G-Spot, made me happy today by winning her class (7 open bitches) and making her way 2nd best bitch with the CACIB. Congrats Sanna and Merja! Your work with the coat is starting to pay back little by little. It is such a joy to handle so beautifully performing girl!

We had a pleasant surprise when our tiny, 11 months old girl Fine Design Candy Cane aka "Tirri" (who I sold as a pet hamster;) tried her luck for the first time in rings. Against our odds, she behaved very nice and made her way to 4th best bitch. What a fine start indeed! Congratulations family Akkanen!

Looks like our participation on shows will continue rather quiet this year as well... Anyhow, with Kristiina we travelled to Sweden where Fine Designs were represented only by "Aino", Int* & Fin Ch, CBHW-09, W-09 Fine Design I Am. "Aino" continued her strong performance and took the breed. This win brought her the last CACIB, and now we have a brand new International Champion! "Aino" crowned her visit by being BIG-3 on Mr. Wilfried Peper from Germany. Complimenting Kristiina, who did a fantastic job by handling "Aino" in the BOB-ring!
Since I have difficulties to get my own stock to shows, I had a pleasure to bring a quest to Sweden. Absolutely gorgeous Fin & S Ch, NordW-09 Charmandelan Faust for Fun "funned" his way to BOS and took a CC, CACIB and Swedish Champion -title as souvenirs to the owners;) Congratulations family Helminen (Charmandelan Bichons)!

The year 2009 was not the busiest what comes to showing. We only took part in few, but all with nice success. Hope to see more activated Fine Designs in 2010! ;) Now, ladies and gents, get some rest and enjoy the Christmas spirit. See you next season!

What a smashing weekend we had! On Saturday Fin Ch, W-08-09 Fine Design Talk Is Cheap renewed his last year title being BOB with the CACIB! Fin Ch, CBHW-09, W-09 FD I Am made her way to BOS with the CACIB as well. Sunday brought "Aino" yet another CACIB as she went 2nd best bitch. What a wonderful end of the season! Congratulating family Hiltunen and Kristiina Lintula!

On Saturday afternoon we took a flight to Denmark, where Fine Design I Am, "Aino", once again did not let us down. She was well prepared for me by her owner and the coat was in excellent condition, so it was easy for me to do my part of the job: scissoring and handling. Now we can be so happy sharing the results:
"Aino" was BOB with the CACIB and CBHW-09 -title and got selected in final eight in group finals!
Great big congrats to Kristiina, who takes so good care of "Aino"´s coat! Thank you Charlotte for letting us use your tent!

This summer seems to be so very busy for all, and as I have to be pleased to have hardly any Fine Designs to shows, I was so happy when Kristiina wanted to enter "Aino", Fine Design I Am, here:) So we went, and this dear Ms. Spoiled took the breed and the CACIB!;) She got selected to the final eight in the group finals. With Pirjo & Ella we drove to North-Sweden again, this time it was freezing cold there. "Viivi", lately only sparingly shown Ch Fine Design Temptation Waits, won the breed with the CACIB. She continued later in the evening by being BIG-4! Congratulations! "Lenni", Ch FD It Happens, was along after quite a break remembering how it was in a dogshow. He did just fine and made his way to best male 4.

This summer has been extremely busy and I haven´t been able to travel dogshows as much as I would´ve wanted. But with Eve we finally took a quick trip to Northern but sunny Sweden. "Jesper" took the males and went BOS with the CACIB. Always happy-go-lucky "Manna" was 2nd best bitch with the CC and the res-CACIB. I was pleased for her result considering she very convincingly played a bunny jumping here and there on a long grass all through the ring:)

We had a HUGE entry of 81 Bichons today!
Little dear "Manna The Cutie Pie", FD G-Spot, took the junior bitches (total 18!) and surprised us all by being 4th best bitch. Way to go, "Manna"! As long as we get the proper coat for her, she should do just fine. Complimenting the owners!

"Aino", Fine Design I Am, took the CACIB (<-res-CACIB) under Mr. Carlos Fernandez Renau from Spain by being 2nd best bitch. Little boy "Joona", FD Grand Slam, still learns to be a proper showdog, but did very good by winning junior males. Good job!

We had a pleasure to start this year´s show season as we ended the last one: One more new champion to Fine Design team! This time it was "Jesper"´s litter sister´s turn to finish her Finnish Championship. "Viivi", Fine Design Temptation Waits, was BOB with the CAC and the CACIB under Mr. Giuliano Biasiolo from Italy. But that was not all... "Viivi" continued her success to BIG-3 judged by Mrs. Malgorzata Supronowicz from Poland. Marvellous indeed! Compliments to the owners!
This surely was my kind of start to the year:) Thanks everybody for such a good day!
