"Don´t smell crotches, don´t eat plants
don´t steal food or underpants
Don´t eat my socks, don´t grab my hair
Stop ripping the stuffing from that chair!
Don´t eat those beans, don´t touch that bush
don´t chew my shoes - what is this mush!?
Outta the toilet! Outta the trash!
Away from the litter - it´s for the cat!
(And must you kiss me after that!?)
Raising a puppy is not for the lazy
Those rugrats are funny, but also quite crazy
Don´t despair through the toil and the strife
´cause after three years you´ll get back your life
So let´s go for walkies so you can do your thing
And maybe I´ll get back my diamond ring..."

Having a dog is not a decision to make too quickly. You should always consider all sides, both good and bad ones, before you purchase one.
At least think about how much money you are able to put on this pet. Feeding, health care, grooming, vet bills etc. are all to come along with a puppy. It would not be nice to hear if some care taking actions were left undone to any Fine Design -puppy because of their costs. Also consider that pure bred dogs are never too cheap when purchased from a good breeder. But notice that in addition you will get a best possible start for your puppy to live a good, healthy life. You wll get registered puppy with whom you are able to e.g. participate different dog events (unregistered ones´access are usually denied) etc etc. Not to mention that professional advice from the breeder and a lifetime 24/7- help and support with your dog.
Other important thing to carefully think before taking a Bichon Frisé is your ability to put lots of time and effort to taking care of not only the dog itself but also of the coat. Here is one very good site about Bichon Frisé -coat care (in english) written by one skillful groomer, Ms. Satu Eskelinen (des Fabuleux), of our breed.
Don´t forget to think also the suitability of your environment for a dog and remember that a Bichon Frisé will be there in your family quite a time, easily over 10 years or more.
If you did not get scared for all above, a Bichon Frisé might be a good obtion for you, and I warmly welcome you to ask more of the breed and a possible new Fine Design -family member of yours.
Every now and then I hear wondering about relatively high price of Bichons Frisés. Take a look at the link beside about the costs of dog breeding. So called "puppy mills" tend to leave most of those costs off from their "breeding", especially health tests, because they cost the most. Neither the feeding puppies and a mom are rarely quality enough to fill their needs. Please do not support those puppy mills, because that only causes more "milling" and produces more propably sick puppies with extracosts certainly always paid by a byer - never by a seller.
